History & development

The LEBAS Company has been created in 1977, with a vocation for designing and building industrial equipments for pharmaceutical, biotechnological, cosmetic, fine chemistry, organic food and bio energy industries.

The company has realized several production units of injectable products and medicines (liquid form, dried form, ointments and granules).

In the sterilized and injectable medicines field, Lebas Company has notably realized in France two blood plasma fractional units (Bordeaux, Strasbourg) and a viral-inactivation plasma unit in Lille.

In 1995, the company has decided to export his know-how in conception of blood plasma fractional units toward developing countries which expect autonomy for plasma proteins: Russia, China, Egypt, Slovakia, Iran, Greece, etc. In the Biotechnological field, Lebas Technologies has many references, with complete fermentation units until 400m3 of production.
